I've always been fascinated with the prospect that the legendary Yamashita's Gold may be buried in Singapore since I was a child. So I wrote a pitch last year about three kids who embarked on a treasure hunt, after finding a secret map to the gold buried right here in Singapore. The bosses liked the idea and it is now a 10-part kids drama titled Yamashita's Treasure, currently on air on Channel 8, Sunday 10:30am. I don't deny that it makes me ponder about what I may have missed out.
