A beautiful film without beautiful images. Darren Aronofonsky's The Wrestler won the Golden Lion in 2008 Venice. But it had to take me nearly 1 year later to watch the film. I think most boys my age can appreciate the film, having all grown up with a staple of WWF (now WWE) on Saturday afternoon 5pm. It made me wonder, what happened to all the men we all grow up idolising?
