2009 Dec.Read a positive review on a short film today, probably the kindest words ever on any of my works. A good pat on the back but also says a lot on how I have never really succeeded in making a good enough film for myself and the audience. Still, thanks Walter!
In any case, you can catch A Light in the Darkness and The Bird That Shakes The Jute Fields screening at the Substation for First Take this coming Monday. I still have not come to terms with it but I have long resigned to the fate that the former is a campy film attempt at making a historical drama.
