Forever Fever (1998) dir. Glen GoeiKelvin Tong is, for me, Singapore's most matured and prolific filmmaker. Time for somebody to give him an award-winning script please.
Autumn In March (2009) dir. Huang Yiliang
TV veteren Huang Yiliang's self-financed debut feature film. It was not pick up by any cinema exhibitors so Huang had to resort to selling DVDs through the Internet, door-to-door sales and at the boot of his car at the carpark of a shopping mall in the East. Huang Yiliang should take pride that he is probably Singapore's first DIY self-distributing filmmaker. And I reckon that I could have been his first customer.
I worked as the lowest life-form / production assistant on the set of this film and even had a few screen time with two different calafare roles.
